Taylor and I started our run at a church in Daybreak.  We run to the lake, circled the whole lake, then ran back to the car.  It was exactly 5 miles.  It was a nice comfortable run.  Average pace 8:36.

Michelle picked me up at 7:00 and we drove up to Copperton Park. We ran to my house and I drove Michelle back up to get her car. Other than it was very windy, it was nice (mostly down hill) run. It was good practice for Michelle to test her pacing skills. Average pace 8:26.

I took the day off of work today for Alex's graduation.

I ran from my house to the lake at Daybreak until I hit 5 miles and then turned around and ran back.  I really liked this run.  There were a ton of bugs out once I hit the trail, which I didn't like.  I felt really good.  Miles were 9:04, 8:44, 8:32, 8:21, 8:24, 7:51, 7:59, 8:07, 7:50, and 7:58.  Average page 8:17

We had a satellite meeting today, so I decided I better get to work by 5:45 just in case something came up.  I'm glad I did.  I ran 10 miles.  I felt like I was running much faster than I really was.  I think my legs are still tired from my Tuesday run.  Average pace 8:50.

There was a good group of us that met at The District and shuttled up to Copperton.  I pushed myself pretty hard for several of the miles.  I was always able to carry a conversation, so I think the pace was good.  My miles were 8:41, 8:00, 7:57, 7:49, 8:10, 8:34, 7:54, 7:40, 8:02, 7:48, and 7:49.  Average pace 8:03

Today my class was graduating, so I wanted to get my run over early.  I started at 6:00.  I did the basic 7.5 loop.  Average Pace 8:20.

I paced the 1:50 group at the Drop 13 1/2 marathon with Michelle.  It was so much fun!!!  I can see how being a pacer could be addicting.  This course is very downhill, but I loved it.  The pace felt really relaxed and the miles just flew by.  Several people thanked us at the end.  This was great practice for the Big Cottonwood Marathon.

I'm on vacation this week!!!  I met the BBK's at the Riverfront Park.  We warmed up for 1 mile and then ran some repeats of 5 minutes hard and 3 minutes easy on the trail.  The first 5 minutes I made it to just under 3/4 a mile.  I'm not sure what the other "5 minutes hard" times were, but I'm sure I slowed down some.  We ran an easy mile back to the cars.  Then Michelle and I ran another 2.5.  Taylor thinks I'm faking being sore.  It's crazy that running doesn't hurt, but I'm still walking funny.  Average pace 8:28.

Taylor wanted a hill workout, so we started at the church on Tithing Hill.  We ran from there down Lampton View then up Parkway Palisades to 1300 and then ran back.  We also did one loop around the hilly park off Lampton.  Average pace 8:45.

We were still in Park City.  Taylor only wanted 4 miles today.  We ran the opposite direction on the trail.  The first 2 miles were very much uphill.  Then we turned around and ran back.  I really do love the downhill.  There were lots of volunteers out waiting for the Ragnar runners to come by.  Miles were 9:39, 9:58, 8:33 and 7:32.  Average pace 8:57.

Awesome run with my BFF on Wasatch Blvd.  We started at Dimple Dell and ran out to the Little Cottonwood Canyon road and then turned around.  We kept the pace pretty slow for the first half.  We tried to finish the last few miles, which are mostly flat, closer to marathon pace.  Average pace 8:58.

I did the usual loop from work but added a little by going South on the trail for a bit.  I just ran a comfortable pace.  When I got to the light on the corner, I saw the DOC cadets running back.  So like Michelle, I had to pass them.  I'm guessing I passed about 15.  Average for the run 8:37.

I ran from work and out on the trail.  I was keeping a pretty decent pace in low 8's.  On the way back I ran into TJ.  He was testing two guys and asked if I wanted to help.  I ran with him back to the half way mark and waited.  We decided that I would run back with the faster guy.  He reached us at about 5 minutes flat.  He was pretty fast, and I couldn't catch him but I stayed about 1 second behind the whole way back.  I ran the .75 in 5:04.
