I met Cheris, Michelle M. and Kris to run the Riverton 1/2 marathon course at 5:30.  About a  mile into the run, we had a car that passed us, flipped around and headed straight for us.  It was crazy.   We had to jump onto the sidewalk to get out of the way.  We all felt like they were really trying to hit us.

Anyway, we ran the first 7 miles slow.  Then we tried to pick it up for the last 6.5.  Our final mile was a 7:10.  Overall average pace 8:32.

Wow that is scary. I can't believe that someone would actually try to run you over. It sounds like you had a good run.

YIKES! People like that are just plain mean! Sounds like other than that you had a wonderful run, great pace as well!
