I met the BBKs at the SJ soccer fields.  For the early miles, we did 3 easy miles.  Then we ran slowly to the road by Redwood so we could do a 5 mile tempo run.  I ran the tempo with Cheris and Dean.  We caught up to Michelle M. about 2 miles in and she ran the rest with us.  We decided sometime during the 3rd mile that a 4 mile tempo sounded like plenty.  We were all tired.  So at 4 miles, we started cooling down until we hit 9 total miles.  My tempo miles were 7:58, 7:28, 7:22 and 7:12.  This is my last speed work before the marathon.
