I met up with several of the BBK's at Cheris' house at 5:00 this morning.  I misunderstood where Michelle N. wanted to meet this morning and she showed up at our Wasatch meeting place.  I felt really bad.  Luckily she found us about 3 miles into our run.  I felt really good today.  I wanted to push the pace the a little.  I ate a 1/2 a banana and piece of wheat toast with peanut butter before we started.  Then I had a gu at mile 5 and Gatorade at miles 10 and 15.   I also drank water.  The last mile was tough.  I think I would have done better with another gu.  I brought Clif Shots and they were nasty.  I usually use the Gu brand.  I couldn't stomach them after the first one.  My splits were 9:21, 9:07, 8:51, 8:45, 8:46, 9:15, 8:40, 8:11, 8:28, 8:11, 8:33, 8:04, 8:16, 7:58, 8:25, 8:42, 8:10, 8:02, 8:13 and 8:50.  Average pace 8:33.

Very cool run Julie!!

I probably consume way too much during my training runs -- but I'm always worried that my blood sugar will get too low since it has in the past. Oh well.

Okay ... so guess what I ate before I ran? I am so bad!!! I ate a piece of white toast smeared in Nutella!!! I am telling you, I am so so so bad!!! :)

Awesome run!! You always amaze me. Can I get an autographed pic??? :)

Love ya!!!

Great job Julie. I can't even imagine running 20 miles it's been so long.

Nice job Julie!! That 20 mile route has some good little climbs in it!

Have you tried the PowerBar brand gu things? I like them the best.
