It was so hard getting out of bed this morning.  When the alarm went off I was in a deep sleep which never happens.  I met the BBK's at Parkway Palisades.  It was a tough hill and speed workout.  Like always- I'm very glad I went.  My splits were 9:28, 8:52, 8:41 (warm up), 8:19 ( up and down PP moderate pace), 7:40 & 7:43 (that was the 2 mile hilly tempo run), 8:18, 8:11,  and 8:21(hill sprints with recovery and back to my car).  Average pace 8:24.

Thanks for the kudos Julie, you are one of my inspirations!

AWESOME!!! I do not know how anyone can pull off paces like that on those hills. WOW.

I really need to get up, I still have not even gotten to hear about Boston. Lazy me.

It must be all the lilacs in the air...a natural sleep aid perhaps. I too actually really slept last night without waking for 8 to 9 hours. Awesome. Too bad your alarm woke your well deserved sleep. But always good to get your run in. Great run. Can you believe only 10 more days/nights??!!!

Bonnie- You made my day. Honesty a 3:30 is my dream marathon goal and you did it on your first try. You trained so hard, you deserved it.

Kelli- You are the hill master. We have missed you. I hope to see you tomorrow.

Paul- I always appreciate your comments.

Julie- I hope you're feeling better. I'll check out your blog. I can't believe it's only 10 more days. I just want it to hurry and get here.

Julie - you are very close, with your leg speed you are right on the verge ... I am thinking that your Boston "training run" will help you immensely for Ogden, I can't wait to see how you do. The most important thing (in my opinion) is to stay healthy training, you are a very smart runner so if you don't make it at Ogden I would be very surprised if you don't make it at St. George this year.

From Kelli on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 22:48:37 from 71.219.98.88

Don't make what??? I am confused. What are you aiming for Julie? You are fast, so whatever it is, I am sure you will get it!

From Julie on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 19:15:09 from 71.35.241.219

Bonnie and Kelli- Thanks for the kind words. I am hoping for a 3:40 - 3:45 at Ogden. I do want to try for a 3:30 at St. George this year. I'll be looking to both of you for advice then.

From Kelli on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 21:48:12 from 71.219.98.88

Oh, I think you have that for Ogden and for St George. No asking me for advice, you are always faster than me!!!! I will come to you.
